About Baidoa International University

Baidoa international university is a Not-For-Profit and private institution located in Baidoa, Somalia that was officially
established in 2015 by a group of Somali scholars and Intellectuals. The main drive of founding is to cover the higher educational needs in the region.

The university has improved the quality of higher education in this region, and has reduced has reduced the number of students traveling to study to other Somali regions. Our facilities and our student centric pedagogy are making a tangible difference in the lives of many young people in Somalia.
